1972-1975: Three year residency in Orthopedic surgery at Nassau County Medical Center, East Meadow, New York (part of Stonybrook University Medical School). Program involved extensive training in adult reconstructive, pediatric, hand, scoliosis and traumatic orthopedic surgery.
1974-1975: Appointed as chief resident the orthopedic surgical services.
